President's Message:

Dear valued alumni, As we celebrate the Faculty's 70th Anniversary this year, the new plans aim to create our Peradeniya Faculty of Arts as the faculty of excellence for ever, as we all would celebrate the achievements of a faculty that gives its students, alumni and faculty staff genuine and heightened pride. As the Founder President of the Arts Faculty Alumni Association, I am so proud of you, as you all had worked so hard and graduated from Peradeniya, some years ago in multiple disciplines, such as yourselves, with outstanding leadership abilities, sense of purpose, high intellectual capacity, and a commitment to the development of the motherland.
I would extend our heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Faculty, for all of you for your tradition of being reunited mostly annually; batch-vise or collectively, and sharing with us to accomplish the forthcoming improvements of our Faculty and the University. The Faculty wishes to be connected with you, all the way forward. Being the first and the oldest faculty established and also the largest faculty within the university network of the country; forming an Alumni Association for the Faculty of Arts has been a long felt necessity, and formation of the Association would be a great strength for the Faculty, Students and the Alumni an for the University at large.
I warmly invite all of you to be the members of the AFAAUP and continued as a stronger part of the Arts Faculty Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya, as our alumni are an integral part of the Faculty and the University of Peradeniya community.

The Arts Faculty Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya was established in the year 2022 due to the pioneering efforts of alumni and teachers of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and stands tall among all the Faculties of the University Network of Sri Lanka.
Get Yourself Registered as a Life Time Member... Be reunited and assist the Arts Facuty to support needy Students and Alumni To be eligible to join AFAAUP, you either need to be a passed out graduate / postgraduate of the Faculty of Arts, Peradeniya or a member of the teaching staff attached to the Faculty

Be a Life Member:
Ordinary Member (Lifetime Members)

1. Any person who has completed an undergraduate /graduate and / or post-graduate study programme in the Faculty or
2. Any person who is or has been a member of the academic staff or of the Faculty or
3. Any person who is or has been a member of non-academic staff of the Faculty possessing a University degree or an equivalent qualification.

The Constitution of the Association and the Application Form are available in the Arts Faculty Website
Duly filled Membership Application form to be sent to reach the Treasurer of the Association;
