Navin Thattil completed his Bachelors in 2005 and his Masters in 2007. Then he joined University of Peradeniya in 2007. In 2016 he started working at Department of Economics and Statistics, Faculty of Arts. As the first assignment at the faculty he undertook the first year ICT module that is catered to more than 1,000 students. It was a challenge since both lecturing and practical demonstrations had to be done for 1,000 students. Then a few more new ICT modules were introduced for students in 2000 level and upwards. Apart from academic work he also contributes towards many ICT related activities at the faculty.
