Biography:
  • Dr. Lalitha Dissanayake is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography, Department of Geography, in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She received her primary and secondary education at St Anthony s' Girls school in Kandy. She obtained her first degree, BA in Geography (honors) from University of Peradeniya in 1994 and Master of Philosophy from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway in 2002 and she obtained her second Master of Philosophy degree from University of Peradeniya in 2011. She obtained her Ph.D degree in Natural Sciences from Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Salzburg, Austria in 2014.
