Biography:
  • Nawfhal,A.S.M. is a Senior Lecturer (Grade I) in Geography. He had his primary and secondary education in Mayurapaada Central College, Mawanella.  He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Geography from University of Peradeniya in 1979.  Subsequently, he obtained his Master of Arts Degree in Geography from Rikkyo University, Japan in 1986. His research interests include urban planning and development, post-disaster impact assessment,  heritage management,  management of urban environment,  enterprise development and planning  as well as GIS and RS applications in Geography.

  • B.A.Honours in Geography, University of Peradeniya , Sri Lanka.
  • M.A. in Geography, Rikkyo University , Japan.
