Mr. Razik is a Senior Lecturer in Geography. He had his school education at Al-HamraVidyalaya in Kandy and Madeena Central College, Madawala Bazaar. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Geography from University of Peradeniya in 1994 and M.Phil. Degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway in 2000. Presently he is pursuing his Ph.D. Degree in Disaster Risk Management through a collaborative project between the NTNU and the Sri Lankan universities funded by the NORAD through the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFU).
