About Me

I am a graduate with a First Class Honors Degree specializing in Philosophy in the English Medium from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I won the Gold Medal for overall merit, coming first among over 1000 students in 19 disciplines at the Faculty of Arts in 2015. My aim is to continue learning and studying, and have already obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Philosophy, though I see this as only the beginning of my academic career. My immediate scholarly objective is to learn and disseminate the similarities and differences between the great “eastern” and “western” philosophical and intellectual traditions. I have acquired relevant professional experience also over the past five years as a university level teacher gaining valuable insights into developing philosophical analyses, critical thinking and substantive academic preparation.
