Biography

Hasini Lecamwasam is a lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Peradeniya. She obtained her BA in Political Science from the University of Colombo, and MA in Political Science from Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. Her research interests are centered in historical contingencies shaping knowledge and discourse, with a focus on colonial understandings of pre-colonial socio-political realities.
