PSY 203 – Cognitive Psychology I

 

This course is an introduction to Cognitive Psychology.  The objective of this course is to provide a theoretical understanding of the elements of cognition (higher mental processes).  It also examines relevant in relation to real life situations.

 

Course Content;

 

History and development of Cognitive Psychology.

The nature of Perception.

Theories of Perception.

Memory

Forgetting.

The nature of language.

The development of language.
