PSY 303 – Social Psychology

 

 

 

Pre-requisite - PSY  101, PSY 208

The objective of this course is to provide a basic understanding of the social psychology of behaviour and thought, focussing on contemporary research and its applicability.

 

Course Content;

Introduction to Social Psychology, Research in Social Psychology, Aggression and violence, Attitudes, Pro-social behaviour, Gender, Leadership and Group behaviour, Environmental  Social Psychology, The self, Spirituality and its effects on solving social problems, Affiliation , Conformity.
