About Me

Prof. Daya Amarasekara is currently a Senior Professor in Sociology, Department of Sociology, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He earned his B.A and M.A. (by research) in Sociology ,University of Peradeniya. Subsequently, he received commonwealth scholarship to do his Ph.D from Calcutta University India in 1994.
