Biography

Kowsalya Duraisamy has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Peradeniya, from 2011. She completed her B.A. (Hons) Degree in Sociology in 2010 and currently reading for her M.Phil mastering in Medical Anthropology. Her areas of interest are social stratification, sociology of development, sociology of education and medical anthropology.
