The Ph.D. degree programme is available only by research. Those who complete the two years MPhil Degree successfully are eligible to register for this course. The PhD degree programme is consisting only of a research component. The candidates are required to prepare the synopsis of the proposed study and obtain the approval of the DoE and the Higher Degrees Committee of the Faculty of Arts, before proceeding with their proposal for the PhD programmes.
