Biography

Attached to the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, I teach French Language and Literature here since 2002. My immediate past position was as Director of the Alliance française in Kandy, a position I enjoyed holding for five years.
My first degree is from the University of Kelaniya and my postgraduate studies took me to Université Paul Valéry in southern France and to Université du Tampon in the French overseas territory of La Réunion.
I am a member of the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association and have been privileged to hold posts of responsibility and have acted as the liaison between the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and the United Nations Agencies.
