Philosophy Forum: Exploring the 'Spaces of Aragalaya

On February 12, 2024, the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, hosted its Monthly Lecture Series as part of the Philosophy Forum. Held at the Faculty Seminar Room, the discussion, titled *"Spaces of Aragalaya,"* was led by Prof. Nihal Perera, a distinguished scholar in the field.


The lecture delved into the philosophical and social dimensions of the Aragalaya movement, shedding light on its significance and its profound impact on Sri Lankan society. Prof. Perera provided a thought-provoking analysis of the spatial and political contexts of the protests, encouraging attendees to reflect on the broader implications of contemporary social movements.
