'Welcome to the The Coordination Unit of Internships, Volunteering, and  Community Outreach (CIVCO)'

The Coordination Unit of Internships, Volunteering, and Community Outreach(CIVCO) Coordination Unit of Internship, Volunteering and Community Outreach of the Faculty of Arts, which is hereafter abbreviated as CIVCO, is proposed to be established within the Faculty of Arts as a “formal structure” for,(1) coordinating formal internship and field practice activities of the academic departments of the Faculty of Arts and (2) planning and delivering volunteering and community outreach programmes in which the students of the Faculty of Arts, members of the student welfare and other support services of the University of Peradeniya, and other relevant external stakeholders will actively be involved. CIVCO will operate under the executive administrative domain of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
