An introductory session on action research, facilitated by Prof. Pushpa Vitharana, was conducted for the professional development and enhancement of research skills of Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) staff. The session emphasized its value for teachers’ growth, included practical activities, and informed staff about upcoming workshops. Staff members were also assigned to review and present the given research papers in the upcoming sessions.
