As part of the ongoing professional development workshop series, the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) organized the “Action Research Topic Presentation” session facilitated by Prof. Pushpa Vitharana. Staff members presented their research topics on identified issues in the English as a Second Language (ESL) classroom and received constructive feedback on their chosen areas/selected topics. Based on this feedback, a sample template was later provided to help staff refine their ideas and align their projects with accepted action research practices to prepare their research proposals.
