The Intensive Course in English – 2023, conducted by the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT), concluded with a talent showcase held on 19th July 2023 at the Sarachchandra Open-Air Theatre, University of Peradeniya. The event featured a range of student performances, including drama, singing, and other creative activities, providing participants with the opportunity to demonstrate the language skills and confidence they had developed during the course. This final event highlighted the effectiveness of the Intensive Course in fostering English language proficiency through performance-based learning and student-centered activities.
