Objectives

The “Arts Faculty of the University of Peradeniya” shall include the Arts Faculties of the University College (1921-1942), the University of Ceylon (1942-1967), the University of Ceylon, Peradeniya (1967-1978), the University of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya Campus and the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka (1979 onwards).
I warmly invite all alumni to be continued as a stronger part of the Faculty Alumni Network, as our alumni are an integral part of the University of Peradeniya community The main objectives of the Association (AFAAUP) shall be as follows:

• To encourage, foster and promote close relations between the Faculty, students and its alumni and among the alumni themselves.
• To assist and support, financially and otherwise, the Faculty and the alumni.
• To promote close relation between alumni and students of the Faculty and to support student welfare programmes.
• To provide exchange of information between Alumni, Faculty and its students.
• To support alumni in maintaining high levels of professionalism.
