Course Registration for the Second Semester - Academic Year 2024/2025

Please check whether you are currently registered for the courses you are following in the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year through the Information Management System (IMS).

Please note: If your registered subjects are already visible in the Information Management System (IMS), there is no need to re-register.

If you have not yet registered for your courses or subjects registered are not displayed, please complete the registration process on or before 20.03.2026, as approved by the Dean.

Kindly note that course registration will not be allowed for any reason after the above deadline.

   Online Subject Registration - 2024/2025 Academic Year - Second Semester

Students are hereby informed that the online registration of subjects for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2024/2025 should be completed on or before 07^th September 2025. (The period for adding/dropping courses will be from 09^th March 2026 to 15^th March 2026).

A registration fee of Rs. 500/= should be paid, and the payment receipt must be kept safely for future reference.

Dates will be provided in due course for confirmation and recording in the approved subject in student Record books.

   Needy Students' Fund - Scholarship for Low Income Earning Families

Applications are invited from the registered internal students of the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, for the above scholarship.

Requirements:

• The Annual Income of the family should be less than Rs. 300,000/= (the income report should be signed by the Grama Niladari and certified by the Divisional Secretary.)
• If the mother/father/guardian is suffering from an illness, a medical certificate should be provided. In case of a deceased parent/ guardian the death certificate should be provided.
• The applicant should have obtained a minimum of a 'C' pass for all subjects that he/she faced in the last completed semester.

This scholarship is awarded only for one academic year.

The application can be obtained from the Dean's Office, and it can also be downloaded from the Faculty website (arts.pdn.ac.lk). The completed application, together with connected documents, should be handed over to the Deputy Registrar Faculty of Arts, on or before 27^th February 2026.
