Introduction
The Distant Education BA program in Greek and Roman Studies is designed to provide students with a comprehensive background in the literature, art, philosophy and civilization of ancient Greece and Rome aided by reputed translations of the original works. This program is offered at the First Examination and General Degree Examination in Arts without making the knowledge of Greek and Latin as a requirement for such study. At the Special Degree Examination students are required to take a language course in either Greek or Latin.
