          			The Postgraduate Diploma program has been designed for those willing to earn a Diploma immediately after their first Degree in Sanskrit or Greek and Roman Studies without continuing to Masters Degree Programs.

MA (Master of Arts) Program
          			The Masters Degree Program has two Degree Programs of which one is the Master of Arts (MA) Degree Program. This is purely a Taught Masters Degree program in which the applicants do not need to complete a research component but course work only. The other program is the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Degree Program described below.

MPhil (Master of Philosophy) Program
          			In addition to the related course work, the MPhil applicants are required to complete a research component which is generally a research-based thesis. For more information, please refer to the current version of the Postgraduate Prospectus published by the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, who administers all postgraduate programs.

          			Unlike the other postgraduate programs, applicants may register at any time of the year for the PhD Programs in the Department. For more information, please contact the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences and the academic faculty of the department.
