Rev. CL Wickremasinghe Memorial Prize

The Rev. C. L. Wickremasinghe Memorial Prize is awarded annually at the General Convocation of the University of Peradeniya to the student who secures the highest marks in the Special Arts Degree Examination in Political Science.

Professor Ambalavanar Sivarajah Memorial Prize for Excellence in Political Science

The Prof. Ambalavanar Sivarajah Memorial Prize is awarded annually to the student who achieves the highest GPA for courses offered by the Department of Political Science from 1000 to 4000 level in the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science degree. The recipient must have obtained a minimum of B+ or its equivalent at the first available attempt for all departmental courses. The student must also have passed all subjects at the first available attempt and secured at least a Second Class (Upper Division) or its equivalent cumulative or final GPA.
