Bachelor of Arts (BA) Distant Learning Undergraduate Programs

Introduction

The Distant Learning programs are designed for those who are either not privileged to enroll as internal students or willing to read for an undergraduate degree without seeking entry to University. The programs are administered by the Centre for Distant and Continuing Education (CDCE) of the University of Peradeniya while the Department of Classical Languages offers the following courses for distant learning students.

Sanskrit

Reading Sanskrit as a Distant Learning (aka External) student may be as rewarding as reading Sanskrit as an internal student. The resources in the University Library are accessible to distant learning students as widely as they are to internal students while the Department extends its support to anybody who wishes to widen his/her understanding of the courses and prepare for the examinations.
