The Department of Psychology, together with the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (PGIHS) provides three distinguished post graduate qualifications based on the qualification and demands of the students.

The objective of the Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology is firstly to enable students to prepare for postgraduate education in Psychology and secondly to provide training in Psychology for the improvement of employment opportunities in sectors such as education, NGOs, mental health care provision, counselling, and many more. The programme provides training in theoretical as well as applied aspects of Psychology.
* Students are required to complete an independent study/guided project after completion of examinations of both the semesters with the supervision of the lecturer they engaged in with, the Post Graduate Diploma course,. |
