About Me

Dinushika M. Yapa Abeywardhana is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Colombo in 2018. Her research interests lie in Environmental Sociology, Political Ecology, Sociology of Development, Urban Sociology, Sociological Theory, Disaster Management and Sociology of Education. She is currently reading for her MA in Sociology at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
