Rizmina Rilwan is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Peradeniya. She obtained her joint Master's Degree in Sociology in 2016 from Masaryk University ( Czech Republic) and the University of Peradeniya in 2016. She is currently reading for her Mphil degree at the University of Peradeniya, and her areas of interest are Medical Sociology, Medical Anthropology, and Development Sociology.
