Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC), which comes under the purview of the Ministry of Education, is in the forefront of creating an innovative culture among school students and universities of Sri Lanka that contributes to the national economy in future.
Road Safety Invention Innovation Challenge is a collaborative effort of Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC) & National Council for Road Safety which creates a platform for Sri Lankan inventors to contribute groundbreaking solutions that can significantly enhance road safety. Beyond the social impact, it is noteworthy that the selected inventions from this challenge will be developed through Technology Incubation Centers, commercialized and deployed for Sri Lankan road safety. This is not only aligns with the Commission's mission but also presents a unique opportunity for inventors to actively contribute to the betterment of the Sri Lankan economy.

Dead line for Applying of Provision for Re - scrutinizing of Marks & Grades of Undergraduates of Second Semester Examinations 2021/2022 Academic Year has been extended up to 31st January 2024.
A payment of Rs. 500/= per subject is charged for verification of Marks & Grades. Duly filled application form and payment receipts should be handed over/ posted to the Deputy Registrar of the Faculty of Arts on or before 31st January 2024.
As per UGC Circular No. 978, the Results Verification Board should proceed to check the accuracy of the addition, computation, and transcription of results (ACT Verification).
